Sintra is a personal budgeting service born from the idea that managing money should be easier. I was frustrated with cumbersome budgeting apps and wanted a solution that felt simpler and more enjoyable to use.
To bring this idea to life, I invited my talented colleague, Leonid Shevtsov, to join me. Together, we built Sintra as a side project alongside our primary jobs.
Sintra calculates a daily budget based on your mandatory expenses. The daily allowance keeps you on track and encourages mindful spending. This approach has helped me save money and achieve my financial goals.
There’s a web app for managing budgets, plus an iOS companion app for tracking expenses on the go. Although we aren’t actively maintaining the project right now due to other commitments, it continues to work, serving a small base of happy paying users — and I still rely on it for my own budgeting.
